You should be setting up meeting request notices because at conferences it is very easy to get caught up in conversation and miss a meeting.

Business Cards: Depending on how large the conference is you can acquire a lot of business cards from potential new clients. Make sure you develop a system to keep track of them. Potential clients won’t mind if you jot down a quick note on the back of their business card after you have had a conversation with them. It shows that they had something good to say and you are interested in following up with them. Make sure you have a bag or container available to keep the business cards organized.

Prioritize: Develop a prioritization system so when you return you are following up with the leads that are the most priority. Also reevaluate the conference and determine if that particular conference was worth your time or if you should be putting your focus on something that is more niche specific. Apply what you learned to the next conference you want to attend.
